"The World English Bible (WEB): Luke" tells of the origins, birth, ministry, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. Divided into eight parts, it depicts the author's aims, before going on to the birth and infancy narratives for both Jesus and John the Baptist, interpreted as the dawn of the promised era of Israel's salvation. In his adulthood, it also tells of Jesus' and John's parallel journeys in service of God.
