Typhoon

Description of book

"Typhoon" is a short novel by Joseph Conrad. The book partially covers Conrad's experience as a sailor working on a ship with captain John McWhirr. A story tells about a British-built steamer running under the Siamese flag, which got into a typhoon—a mature tropical cyclone in the northwestern part of the Pacific Ocean and how the crew of the steamer coped with the situation.
