Max Brand has written some wonderful classic western stories, and this is one of them. Bull Hunter, a large and strong yet kind man, flees his abusive relatives to discover life in the real world. On his travels, he finds a companion in a famous gunfighter who shows him the ropes of gunplay. Despite his tall stature, Bull remains gentle and compassionate, winning over the hearts of those he meets. However, his adversaries still try to take his life—-though, with little success.
