The war is over. Finally there is peace. It's spring in a city that has been destroyed. Once again Uwe Seeler and the other children from the neighbourhood can spend all day playing football in the street. But things are different from before the war. There are soldiers in Hamburg – English soldiers. Uwe's parents worry when their son is out there playing football. It would be safer for him to play in a club. And that is the start of an incredible football experience.
