The High History of the Holy Graal

The High History of the Holy Graal

Description of book

"The High History of the Holy Graal" was written by an unknown author (and translated from French by Sebastian Evans in 1898) and it is considered to be one of the least–canonical of the Arthurian romances. Nevertheless, it does introduce some characters who would go on to become common in later romances, such as King Claudas, Meliant and the Questing Beast. It should not be confused with the more popular "Quest of the Holy Grail."

"The High History of the Holy Graal" is an ancient tale of High Romance, the substance of which in one form or another has intrigued and fascinated men and women for more than a thousand years.
