"Youth" by Leo graf Tolstoy is one of the prolific writer's lesser-known novels. However, it is one of his most important. Tolstoy wrote three works that could be considered biographical in nature while still being written in the form of a novel. "Youth" is volume two in that trilogy, depicting his adolescent age. Though the author wasn't content with the way this book turned out, many have found themselves fascinated with the coming of age of such an important person in literature.
