Steffi Jones dreams of becoming a professional footballer. She has loved football ever since she was little. Most of all, she likes to play with the boys in her street. But then the coach has to give her bad news: According to the rules of the German national football association, boys and girls have to train separately from the age of 13. Steffi is devastated. She didn’t want to play in a girls' team – together with girls from the other side of town? Steffi's mother is not so sad – no football for her daughter anymore - she can finally send her to tennis. But Steffi doesn't like tennis. Even girls' football is better than tennis! And when Steffi watches the other girls play for the first time, it takes her breath away.
